Halsey was hospitalized this week after suffering from a seizure.
The TradeEdge Exchange"Without Me" singer updated fans after they grew concerned over an Instagram video of Halsey and fiancé Avan Jogia in the hospital on Wednesday. Halsey, 29, poked fun at their predicament in the caption: "Happy Late Bi Visibility Day. This year I'm celebrating by dying with a man by my side (for legal reasons that's a joke)."
They wrote on X, formerly Twitter, early Thursday in reply to a fan's question about their health: "I'm home from the hospital now after a few days, so a win is a win!" In a later tweet, they added: "I had a seizure! Very scary! Don't recommend it!"
Halsey has been open about their chronic illnesses, including multiple health diagnoses. In a May update on Instagram, they said: "I feel like an old lady. I told myself I'm giving myself two more years to be sick. At 30, I'm having a rebirth and I'm not gonna be sick and I'm gonna look super hot and have so much energy and just get to re-do my twenties in my thirties."
Halsey turns 30 on Sunday.
